After the Procedure

The first nights

  • The first nights after your surgery are crucial. We recommend that you avoid touching the transplanted grafts at all costs, because they could become dislodged from their implant sites.
  • You must remain in a semi-recumbent position with two or three pillows to keep your head elevated about 45 degrees.
  • In addition, we suggest that you lie still in that position the night of the operation and the next two nights.

Other specific instructions will provided by Dr Lupanzula regarding what you need to do after the surgery. These instructions must be followed meticulously to ensure a proper balance between the donor and recipient areas and guarantee a prompt and speedy recovery.
